This CRL Glass Door Center Lock with Deadlatch in Entrance Lock Function installs easily without requiring the use of bolts, silicone, or cement. It is stocked in four attractive finishes for use with 1/2 inch (12 millimeter) heavy glass doors. Extra gaskets are available for use with 3/8 inch (10 millimeter) glass doors. The operation of the lock varies with the lock function. Custom designed locks with a variety of options are available on special order by contacting Technical Sales.
Office Lock Function:Latchbolt is operated by lever on either side (except when outside lever is locked by button in faceplate) or by a key outside. Auxiliary Latchbolt deadlocks the main Latchbolt to prevent jimmying of lock. Turning inside lever will always retract the locking mechanism and allow exit.Entrance Lock:Latchbolt is operated by lever on either side (except when Deadbolt is projected). Deadbolt is operated by key outside and thumbturn inside. Turning inside lever will retract Latchbolt and Deadbolt simultaneously to allow exiting.Passage Lock:Latchbolt is operated by lever on either side. Turning inside lever will always retract the locking mechanism and allow exiting.Storeroom Lock:Latchbolt is operated by lever inside, and by key outside. The outside lever is always fixed. Auxiliary Latchbolt deadlocks the main Latchbolt to prevent jimmying of lock. Turning inside lever will always retract the locking mechanism to allow exiting. This lock is used primarily with Electric Strikes.
